Harmonious and inspirational
The concert rotunda was completed in 1912 by court architect Eugen Drollinger. The rotunda was then carefully renovated and restored according to a historical archetype as late as 2013. Now it is hard to resist the charming atmosphere of the dome building. The concert rotunda provides an unforgettable setting for each event. The thin columns add to this, carrying a dome decorated with medallions. These allegorically show the natural remedies of the state bath Bad Reichenhall. They underline the clarity of the architecture and the harmony of the overall ensemble. From the concert rotunda, you directly enter the royal spa garden with its pretty flowerbeds, old deciduous trees and well-maintained paths.
It was built between 1910 and 1911 in just eight months, according to the plans of architect Max Littmann. It is built like a basilica with its interior divided by columns in three longitudinal naves.
As a landmark in architecture and interior design, the historic Kursaal building from 1833 at the state bath in Bad Brückenau is the visiting card of the spa and resort city. The classical hall construction with its arcade was built by order of King Ludwig I, according to plans by Johann Gottfried Gutensohn (1792-1851). The listed Kursaal building from 1833 with its three halls (430 sqm, 160 sqm, 100 sqm) offers attractive rental locations.
