A number of attractive rooms and halls in the elaborately renovated regent building are available for up to 1,200 of your guests. All halls are equipped with state-of-the-art event technology, and if you have any questions, the team will be at your disposal. The regent building, a landmark of Bad Kissingen, was built in the period 1911 to 1913 on behalf of Bavarian Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria using the Neo-Baroque style. The famous architect Max Littmann largely implemented the ideas of the Bavarian prince. In addition to the predominant Neo-Baroque style, the architect was also able to realise elements of Art Nouveau in the green hall. The regent building offers the following areas:
  • Entrance hall and foyer: luxurious and impressive elegance, suitable for standing receptions and as a lounge for breaks
  • Max Littmann hall: Concert hall with impressive acoustics
  • White hall (Weißer Saal): festive and elegant in Rococo style
  • Green hall (Grüner Saal): floral Art Nouveau with an elegant flair
  • Schmuckhof: the romantic courtyard invites you to take a walk and have inspiring conversations

Experience generosity and elegance at the entrance and foyer of the regent building

Noble and spacious are the attributes that best describe the brightly designed entrance hall and the adjoining foyer. The high vault presents an impressive ceiling painting by Julius Mössel. Artful terrazzo flooring with interesting individual elements and a balcony with a large outdoor terrace underline the spaciousness of the rooms, which continue in the adjoining foyer. This offers space for 150 to 200 guests depending on seating. For standing receptions, the number can be increased to a maximum of 500 people.

Enjoy excellent acoustics in the Max Littmann hall

The famous Max Littmann hall is considered one of the best concert halls in the world for its outstanding acoustics and design. It was originally designed as a concert and ballroom, but today it also provides the appropriate setting for congresses, conferences or festive events. The elaborate and modern sound and lighting technology are controlled from the original royal box, which stands out from the U-shaped surrounding gallery. The richly decorated wall panelling made of cherry wood provides for exceptional acoustics and a festive atmosphere. Foldable doors that invisibly disappear in columns and naturally create a connection to the greenery and the white hall make the Max Littmann hall a true master of metamorphosis. The capacity of the 455 square metre hall can thus be extended to up to 1,133 seats.

The green hall - Art Nouveau elegance

The green hall impresses with floral Art Nouveau optics as a contrast in the neo-Baroque regent building. The two fluted and capitulated columns supporting the five-metre-high ceiling are a special eye-catcher. The authentic green walls, decorated with silver Art Nouveau elements, give the room its name and underline its elegant flair. The hall, originally designed as a music room, offers 100 to 120 seats over 180 square metres. The green hall is often used as an extension of the Max Littmann hall.

The white hall - inspired by the rococo

As the name suggests, the white hall is completely decorated in brilliant white and thus offers a particularly exclusive ambience. The generous window facades, which open the view to the beautiful Schmuckhof, also contribute to the special charisma. Embossed silver chandeliers with Venetian crystal glass and three-metre-high mirrored doors are another eye-catcher. Due to this unusually beautiful appearance, the hall is especially popular with wedding couples and can be used as a place for wedding parties as well as a wedding chamber. Up to 100 guests can be accommodated on 150 square metres. Apart from separate events such as weddings and other festive events, the hall is also used as a large function room together with the Max Littmann hall and the green hall.
