From stately to romantic: weddings and conferences in Bad Brückenau
The state bath in the middle of Germany fulfils all sorts of wishes
Surrounded by forests and hills
Bad Brückenau in the north of Bavaria provides the perfect location for the most beautiful day in your life, and profitable conferences also take place here. Surrounded by rolling hills and forests, the historic Kursaal building at the state bath Bad Brückenau also gives your event the right setting at the foot of the Rhön. By contrast, King Ludwig I of Bavaria for his part fell for the beautiful Lola Montez. One owes the atmospheric event building and the romantic state bath to him. So it is not surprising that one of the three halls bears the name of this famous Irish dancer. This is where theatre performances take place.
For lively festivities and impressive presentations
The 430 square metre King Ludwig I hall is perfect for lavish galas, conferences, concerts and balls. The royal box is exactly the right setting for intimate vernissages, conferences and chamber concerts. The king, who loved the arts and wrote poetry himself, would have liked it. The historic building, a classical hall building with an arcade from 1833, was designed by Johann Gottfried Gutensohn. It is picturesquely situated in the 40-hectare spa park and Schlossgarten, which you can directly go to from your venue. Finest arabesques, stucco, grotesque paintings and Italian Renaissance ornaments adorn the airy and bright building on the inside and on the outside, adding to its festiveness.
It was built between 1910 and 1911 in just eight months, according to the plans of architect Max Littmann. It is built like a basilica with its interior divided by columns in three longitudinal naves.
