Tranquil places for contemplative moments
In the English-Mediterranean influenced spa park of Bad Streben, small Art Nouveau-style garden pavilions belonged to the attraction. Under the roof of elaborately crafted Rondelle, precious water of the temple and meadow spring once bubbled from the earth. In the 1950s, there were new ideas and impulses for the design of the spa park. As a result, public access points to the springs disappeared and with them the pavilions. What remains are places of silence, where you will find coolness, peace and contemplation under shady trees.
Two former springs with new flair
You do not have to look for shady spots in the spa park for long. You will reach the summerly scented rose garden over the former location of a spring pavilion in the southern part of the spa park. A larger Rondell is located in the lower spa park, clearly visible on a meadow. The effect of this is a particularly natural and harmonious image.
Music and unforgettable moments at the spring pavilion
Every year, there is a concert at the large pavilion. Visitors have a picnic in the meadow and listen to the music in a relaxed mood. If you arrive at the large pavilion location at the right time, you might experience an open-air wedding. Wedding couples enjoy the quiet and tranquillity of the romantic spot, to exchange vows at the former spring.
As a landmark in architecture and interior design, the historic Kursaal building from 1833 at the state bath in Bad Brückenau is the visiting card of the spa and resort city. The classical hall construction with its arcade was built by order of King Ludwig I, according to plans by Johann Gottfried Gutensohn (1792-1851). The listed Kursaal building from 1833 with its three halls (430 sqm, 160 sqm, 100 sqm) offers attractive rental locations.

The concert rotunda, built in the monumental style of court architect Eugen Drollinger, is characterised by courtly, representative flair and harmonious curvatures.
It was built between 1910 and 1911 in just eight months, according to the plans of architect Max Littmann. It is built like a basilica with its interior divided by columns in three longitudinal naves.
